While the TagsCollector service is handling all the heavy lifting in the background, the ASP.net web portal provides a user-friendly interface to easily access the data through a standard web browser. This novel approach allows anyone familar with website development to quickly construct a fully functional SCADA system and eliminates the repetitive task of entering data multiple times in multiple places... simply enter your tag data one time, construct a website, and publish it on a standard Microsoft IIS web server.
